WHAT IT DOES:

SkinCeuticals Physical Matte UV Defense SPF 50 offers 100% mineral protection with a matte finish that absorbs oil and controls shine. Ideal for hot and humid conditions, it enhances skin tone and minimizes pores.

HOW IT WORKS:

Featuring transparent zinc oxide and titanium dioxide for broad-spectrum UV protection, this sunscreen uses aerated silica to absorb oil and maintain a matte finish. The translucent color spheres provide a universal tint and enhance radiance, while the silicone base smooths skin for makeup application.

KEY INGREDIENTS:

  • 4% Transparent Micronized Zinc Oxide (Z-Cote®): microfine physical sunscreen filter that provides broad-spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays without leaving a white residue.
  • 9% Titanium Dioxide: microfine titanium dioxide that forms a barrier on the skin to protect against UVA and UVB rays.
  • Aerated Silica: absorbs up to 15 times its weight in oil to provide a long-lasting matte finish even in hot, humid conditions.
  • Translucent Color Spheres: iron oxide spheres are a color-infused technology that enhances natural skin tone and boosts radiance while providing a universal tint for most skin tones.

A broad spectrum 100% physical tinted sunscreen with an oil-absorbing base that leaves a long-lasting matte finish.

Daily UVA/UVB oil-absorbing protective base with a matte finish.

This mattifying 100% physical sunscreen is formulated with titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (Z-Cote®*) to provide high broad spectrum UV protection. Enhanced with aerated silica technology, it is proven to maintain a matte finish even in hot, humid conditions. Its weightless mousse texture dries to a powder finish, optimizing makeup application.

How to Use

Prep + Dispense
Apply liberally to face, neck, and decolletage 15 minutes before sun exposure and before applying makeup

Apply + Complete
Re-apply at least every two hours or after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating. Re-apply immediately after any towel drying or at least every two hours.

Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad-Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:

Limit time in the sun, from 10 am - 2 pm
Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses
